We are an authentic Chateau Neuf-born and raised improv team, formed originally as a mixer before the 2019 OIF. Freudian Slippers have been experimenting with various show formats ranging from pure longform to shortform and game-based variations. We aim to bring the subconscious of our characters to life on stage, exploring the funky, twisted, adorable, and thought-provoking aspects of human beings. This is all inspired by the lovely audience, though any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental - of course:)

A Mixer Team is a spontaneous and exciting blend of improvisers from Impro Neuf coming together to create improv magic! These teams are made up of performers with a wide range of experience levels—some may be seasoned veterans, others might be stepping on stage with this group for the very first time.

Some mixer teams are freshly formed and meeting each other right before the show, while others have rehearsed and performed together before. No matter their history, each mixer team brings its own unique chemistry and energy to the stage—unpredictable, unfiltered, and always entertaining!

The Improv Speakeasy is the founding house team of Impro Neuf International. How does a butterfly’s wings affect an entire show? We follow a thread of loosely tied events taking place at the same time. How does a morning TV show affect the family who watches it? How does it explain the rise of grandmas as TikTok stars?
