🎉 Want to learn the exciting world of improv? Here’s your chance! 🎉

Improvisational theatre, or improv, is unscripted and spontaneous—an art form where every scene is created in the moment. It’s a blend of fun, creativity, and teamwork that often leads to laughter without even trying!

This open-level workshop focuses on Improv Fundamentals. Whether you're a beginner or want to revisit the basics, this session is perfect for everyone. The instructor will guide you through the essential building blocks of improv, helping you gain confidence, improve spontaneity, and unleash your creativity.

✨ Workshop Focus:  "Making Bold Choices!"

“Making Bold Choices” is a workshop focused on committing fully to strong, clear ideas onstage. This results on more interesting characters, easier to understand ideas and overall better scenes. The session also covers how to support these bold moves with confidence and collaboration.

😅 A space to drop the pressure and play freely

🎉 Games that reward ease, joy, and showing up as yourself

🤸🏽‍♀️ Moments of silliness, surprise, and connection

🔥 A fun, celebratory end to the season with good people and good vibes

💡 About Open Improv Workshops

Impro Neuf’s Open Improv Workshops are fully drop-in sessions, offering a fun and beginner-friendly introduction to the world of improvisational theatre. No prior experience is needed—just show up and jump in!

Each workshop is led by a different facilitator, bringing their own unique style and perspective to the session. Over the course of the semester, these workshops are designed to cover a variety of improv fundamentals, providing opportunities to explore different aspects of the art form.

While attending multiple workshops will give you a well-rounded understanding of improv, every session is stand-alone and does not build on previous ones. This makes it perfect for newcomers to join at any time, while regulars can enjoy fresh exercises and insights every week.

Whether you’re here to try something new, meet people, or deepen your skills, there’s always something exciting waiting for you at Impro Neuf’s Open Workshops!
