Kitchen Sink is the show where we finally say the thing you’ve been wishing you could tell someone, but for some reason you haven’t.
The show is the brainchild of Invi Brenna, who’s spent a lot of time in a lot of different kitchens. They’re a jack of all trades with a master in Theatre Directing who’s been doing improv since 2011. The guest will be different every time. It’s not always easy, being a guest, so we stick to the most hospitable surroundings — who doesn’t love hanging out in a kitchen? (And — the guest describes a kitchen they know well for us to play in, so who’s really the host?)
“Everything but the kitchen sink” we say, meaning “nearly everything you could possibly imagine”. Kitchen sink realism, on the other hand, deals with the world we live in exactly as it is. In this show, you get a bit of both.
