๐Ÿ• Time: 18:00 - 20:00

โณ Duration: 2 hours

๐ŸŽ‰ Welcome to this more advanced workshop,if you are a member of Impro Neuf ๐ŸŽ‰

Improvisational theatre, or improv, is unscripted and spontaneousโ€”an art form where every scene is created in the moment. Itโ€™s a blend of fun, creativity, and teamwork that often leads to laughter without even trying!

โœจ Workshop Focus

Use Your History

Your past is more than a list of events. Itโ€™s a living archive of feelings, rhythms and relationships. This workshop teaches you how to open that archive in the moment of a scene, finding the details that make it resonate for you and your audience. As a guide, weโ€™ll use the Flash Memory exercise, originally created by Ian Roberts, one of the four founders of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and later adapted by Billy Merritt for his co-authored book Pirate, Robot, Ninja: An Improv Fable. Whether itโ€™s a remembered smell, a half-heard sentence, or the exact way someone once looked at you, these flashes of memory might just help you land scenes that are truly unforgettable!

18:00 at Betong, Chateau Neuf

As it happens, a lot of workshops at the festival is selling out. If you dont plan on a 3 week long improv break in October - hurry and get your spots now! https://www.osloimprofestival.com/booking
