Improvisational theatre, or improv, is unscripted and spontaneous—an art form where every scene is created in the moment. It’s a blend of fun, creativity, and teamwork that often leads to laughter without even trying!

✨ Workshop Focus

Welcome back from the easter hollidays!

This week, Liv will hold a workshop about messing around with typecasting, and how to apply this to improv. Basicly it is about figuring out what your "brand" is.
At Betong.
This workshop is inspired by a workshop she took by T.J. Manix some years ago about knowing what characters people imagine you as automaticly, and how you can either milk that, or subvert their expectations. A few classes about casting has also inspired this workshop.
This workshops is also inspired by Liv's own experience in the acting world, where how people imagine you can become limiting. In contrast, improv is freedom, where you can play whoever and whatever you want.
The aim is therefore not to limit ourselves to only whatever people think we can play, but rather to be aware of their perceptions, so we can use it as a tool to enhance our improv and stage presence.
