✨ Workshop Focus

This semester, we focus on elevating our shows and ourselves to the next level.

In this workshop, Carlos and Naya will share what they learned from and got inspired by Bala's workshop "Lean into your femininity" from OIF24

We all have masculine and feminine energies within us. Unfortunately, playing feminine/femme characters has been reduced to tropes/ the punchline. The feminine helps you uncover your innate intuition, allowing you to play characters that are nurturing, gentle, warm and empathetic - without being a pushover. Let's call in your feminine powers onstage (and maybe off?), helping you play subtler and more nuanced Characters. You will have the chance to practice the new tools on stage, in a special showcase played with the workshop group!
